Hi, I'm Brandy.

He wiped the tear from her eye. That sounds like such a familiar love. This quick act of service, compassion, and love stopped me during the wedding ceremony and again as I edited their wedding photos. For a man to love gently, the way that Jesus loves, is so precious. For Elizabeth and Alex to begin their marriage in such a tender and caring way, is so promising and so rare.

Love is tender…

Jesus is the ultimate example of loving gently and when I saw Alex wipe the tears from Elizabeths cheek ever so gently during their ceremony, I saw the love of our Heavenly Father flowing from him to his wife. It was beautiful and true and a moment I’ll always remember.

Intimate and Full of Details

Elizabeth and Alex’s brunch wedding at the timelessly elegant BellaCosa Lakeside Lodge was truly what Florida wedding dreams are made of. I’ve come to love and value intimate weddings during my time as a wedding photographer. There’s much room for intricate and meaningful details.

It takes a Village

Black tie tuxedos from Men’s Wearhouse, Anthology String Quartet playing in the courtyard and a hand painted portrait of the venue created by the ever so talented Julianna Carmella. Elizabeth curated the most gorgeous and unique Florida citrus inspired theme with many personal details added in. Royal Events and Services did a beautiful job serving and perfectly folded the mixture of white napkins which Elizabeth collected from several different brides with the intention of carrying on a piece of their wedding day. The Bible placed in the lobby to sign and share guests favorite scripture is something that can be a daily reminder of the goodness of God and a map for navigating this new journey they are starting together. Bridesmaids adorned rich, velvet gowns in the most perfect shade of marigold, designed by Jenny Yoo. The ballroom was lined with charming wooden tables and cross back chairs provided by Southern Chairs and the most vibrant florals created by The Wild Hare filled the venue. It was perfection, absolute perfection. To top it all off, every detail of Elizabeth’s wedding look was flawless. She wore a classic gown from The Southern Swan and she rocked the most stunning updo created by A Cherished Bride. PERFECTION!

My favorite word…. JOY!

Elizabeth is one of those people who exude joy and bubbliness! Bride’s like her are what make my heart soar and remind me why I love this career so very much. And Alex, oh my heavens, that sweet man had the BIGGEST grin on his face coming back down the aisle with his new wife on his arm, the sweetest sight ever! A smile never left Elizabeth’s face, she was calm and collected, any moment of stress she may have experienced prior to the wedding she gracefully set it aside on the day of and took the day in with so much intention. Elizabeth and Alex are the kindest of souls. So full of love for people and happiness. I am over the moon happy for the two of you and eternally thankful for the opportunity to serve you on your wedding day. Wishing you all the best and sending the biggest hugs.

Love, Brandy

P.S. It totally slipped my mind to sign your bible and leave one of my favorite scriptures, so here you go.

“‘ May the Lord bless you and keep you;  May He make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you; May the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”’ – Numbers 6:24-26
