I first met Brian and Selina at their wedding consultation. They were both quiet and sweet and full of excitement for their upcoming wedding, this June! Brian and Selina will be having a traditional Catholic wedding in Avon Park, Florida and I am soo excited to capture their special day!

When trying to decide on the perfect location for their engagement photos it didn’t take long to figure out that both Selina and I thought the beach would be the perfect location for them! I had heard about this beach called Beer-Can Island in Long Boat Key that has amazing driftwood. When I showed some photos to Selina she was just as in love with the location as I was so we knew this was perfect! I had never been to this particular beach before so I went a little early to explore and make sure it would work for us. This beach was so beautiful and magical!! I was dying to send pictures of it to Selina but contained myself so it could be a surprise for her!

Selina and Brian showed rocked both of their outfits and they couldn’t have been any more perfect for their beach session. The first coral outfit was sweet and fun and the color popped perfectly against the light blues and greens of the ocean! Their second outfits were everything that you could imagine for a romantic soft beach engagement session, it looked as if they were part of the scenery.

We started out on the beautiful concrete pier. On our way off the pier to our next location I noticed a group of people watching and smiling at us. I apologized to Selina and Brian for attracting an audience with my extreme excitement over how gorgeous their pictures were!! Come to find out it was their sweet family that came with them to show their support and love. We then made our way through what I am still convinced is a magical and enchanted beach forest lol! There was white sand that looked like snow and tons of tall slender trees (just like you would imagine seeing in an enchanted forest!). After we finally made it out of the forest and to the driftwood we finished up our session around the drift wood and at the shore of the ocean. The water was warm, the breeze was as soft as the cloudy skies and the temperature was just right. We truly couldn’t have asked for more perfect conditions.

These photos are so full of love, laughter and joy. I can only imagine how much more joy and excitement their wedding day will hold! I am so grateful for sweet clients like Brian and Selina. They are what makes my dream career possible. I can’t wait until their wedding day!
