The living room was full. Close to a dozen of Chabeli’s closest friends and family filled the room. Chabeli’s Mom had just helped her into her wedding gown. Her veil softly surrounded her face. Bridal makeup by Morgan McCullers was perfect. Bridesmaids lined the small hallway, waiting for her to come out of the room. Chabeli’s Father stood in the living room, facing the front door, back to everyone else.

Then, Belli opened the door to come out of the room. Tears immediately filled her eyes as she saw her girls waiting for her.

She walked over to her father and tapped on his shoulder. He slowly turned around to see his little girl. I’m sure he’s dreamt of and imagined this day since the day Chabeli was born. His first born daughter, but still his little girl. It took a few seconds to kick in. He stood with no change in emotion or reaction for a good 3o seconds. It was like he was starstruck, so in awe of her. Then it hit them both. They fell into each others arms and held each other so tightly. They sobbed together in the most heart-wrenching way. There were at least a dozen people in this small living room and not one dry eye. This moment was so beautiful and perfect in every way.

Family.

Love and love of Family is so strong and pure. Kindness overflowed from everyone we met. This day was full of joy, love, laughter and tears. Chabeli and David are perfect for one another in ever way. I could go on and on with wonderful stories from their special day. The details were soft, romantic and beautiful. From her Badgley Mischka Heels to the TWO beautiful wedding gowns she wore every detail was full of elegance and beauty. But the love of family stood out to me more than anything else. I was blessed by being entrusted with capturing this beautiful day.

Chabeli, David , I adore you. I have from the very first time I met you. But now, I adore you even more. Your families are absolutely wonderful. It’s easy to see what molded you into the amazing people that you are. You two are perfect for each other. I pray for many blessings to fill your lives. I wish you a lifetime of joy, happiness, laughter and tears. Thank you for choosing me to serve you and your families, it was an honor.
