Anastasia’s Downtown Lakeland Senior Session | High school senior photographer
I first met Ani (AH-Nee, Anastasia, not an-ee) while taking family portraits for her and her family. I asked if she wanted to take a few photos by herself and she semi-hesitantly accepted the offer. Ani is humble. She is kind. She’s not overly glamorous or a selfie queen. She’s literally just one of those sweet, intelligent and naturally beautiful “girl next door” type of girls. After Ani stepped in front of my camera for the first time with the sunlight shining behind her I took a test photo. As I checked the photo in the back of my camera, I’m pretty sure my jaw hit the ground! This girl was stunning!! Rachel who is Ani’s step-mom, contacted me to set up Ani’s senior photos I was so excited! I already knew this session was going to be amazing. Let me tell you, Ani did NOT disappoint! I literally had to remind myself to continue pose and direct her. Supposedly, she doesn’t like her picture taken and isn’t one to overdo it on the photos. For someone so humble and simple, this girl KNOWS how to work the camera!
We had a blast trying out all kinds of fun spots around Lakeland!
This session allowed me to be a little funky and creative and I loved every second of it! I may or may not have suggested skipping out on college to pursue modeling lol! Ani, you are truly one of a kind. You’re unique, kind, and just all around a special person. The world needs more like you! Thank you for being true to who you are. You’re genuine, that’s hard to come by. I wish you all the success and happiness that this life can give you. One day if you decide to get married, I’ll be patiently waiting to photograph you again at your wedding! Enjoy life, and stay true.
Big Hugs and smiles, Brandy
