A love like no other. 

The way she rubs her index finger through his beard. The way he literally sweeps her off her feet and twirls her around. It’s altogether beautiful, and raw, and genuine. Lauren and Jeff have a one of a kind love story. They are each other’s saving grace and home. All of my couples love each sincerely and wholeheartedly, but Lauren and Jeff are just a little out of the ordinary in their admiration for one another. They can’t take their eyes of one another. They love so evidently and deeply.

The “First Look” 

There are many reasons that I love “First Looks”. I love the fact that you get to spend so much more time together on your wedding day instead of being separated for the majority of the day. Then when you do finally get to see each other it’s a whirlwind of events for the remainder of the evening. I love that the groom gets to see his glowing bride and actually embrace her, twirl her and actually tell her how stunning she looks instead of having to stand at attention for the officiants commands and procedures during your ceremony. I could go on and on, but lets get back to Lauren and Jeff. Lauren, just like most every other bride was anxious to see her groom. She wanted every detail of the day she had put so much time and heart into to be as perfect as possible. She was excited to marry her best friend. Sometimes this flood of so many emotions can be overwhelming for a bride.

“It was as if a blanket of peace fell over her” 

Lauren and Jeff were in position for their first look. She didn’t want to just tap on the shoulder, she really wanted him to see her beautiful wedding gown fully. He turned to see his bride, she gracefully walked to him. Both of their faces glowed with joy, wearing the biggest smiles. They came together and embraced one another. In that moment, it was as if a blanket of peace fell over her. All of the nervousness, the worries or any other emotion other than pure joy and excitement left her! All she needed on this beautiful day was the love of her life in her arms. That’s all that mattered. That’s the sweetest love of all.

 

Lauren and Jeff, I absolutely love watching your love continue to grow and strengthen. You are perfect for one another. Lauren, I consider you a friend. You’re one of the most dedicated and hardworking people I’ve ever met. I already know how much love and joy life has in store for the two of you. So, I am just going to wish upon you that it overflows for all of your years.
